I have always had a love of nature and flowers in particular. I started working at a flower shop when I was 15 and was immediately hooked. A few years and a couple of colleges later, I decided the floral industry is where I needed to be. I continued my floral “education” at several local flower shops.

In 1990 my husband, Bob and I opened Morning Glory in Wilmette. We expanded that location in 1994 and took on the Glenview location in 2005. Morning Glory was founded on the principle of providing the freshest, finest quality product available on the market, expertly designed and delivered. It is this principle that continues to propel us forward in the industry.

One of the joys of being in this business, is the constant state of change. Each season provides new options for creative designing. Some of my favorites are springtime tulips, beautiful summer peonies, antique fall hydrangeas and winter ginestra. These are just a few of the many fabulous possibilities available.

In my 40 plus years of experience, I have done many different designs, from simple to elaborate. I pride myself on knowing the latest floral trends and how to expertly execute them. I enjoy the challenge of what floral designing brings.
